Post by: Gargamel on May 11, 2003, 02:55:50 PM
its time the annual e3 in los angeles soon and its going to be grate, lots o fantastic games to look forward to. so i was wondering what games you all are looking forward to.

i would have to say metal gear solid 3, another masterpiece by the genius hideo kojima who brought us the eccelent cyberpunk adventure snatcher for the sega cd and the super cool zone of the enders 2. and sega is announcing alot of cool action games such as altered beast, kunochi and dororo. capcom also has some good stuff, crimson tears to mention one. well thats about it for now.

I don't care what you're excited to see at E3, as long as you use capital letters properly.

I'm most intrestied in how they do Gregory Horror show.  They have a sucessfull online Settlers of Catan going in Japan so maybe Capcom will do a good job there.

I think you need to go back and edit those posts. There's a lot of repetition of lists, Sprig

They're listed by system so if a game is comming out on mutliple systems then it's listed multiple times

well that was offical before E3 and it will edventualy come ou on the Xbox and Gamecube just like the previous version.  The PSP will be intresting since it uses Sony's Minni Disks (1.6 gigs max) for the games.  They want to do PSX games on it, but from the speck's I've seen it's going to be a battry muncher like nothing else.  It's intresting that Sony is trying their hand in the portable game systems since no other company besides Nintendo has ever had a sucessful portable despite many being much better then the Gameboy.

Well Sony hasn't released much info on it since it's probaly not going to be released untill Christmass 2004.  But here's what we do know:
Display: Widescreen (16:9) TFT LCD with backlight (480x272)
Disc: “UMD” 60mm optical secured ROM disc with cartridge (1.8GB)
Video CODEC: MPEG4
Graphics: 3D (polygons and NURBs)
Sound: PCM (built-in stereo speakers, stereo headphone output)
I/O: USB 2.0, Memory Stick slot
Battery: Rechargeable (lithium-ion)

I doubt the graphics will be any better then the PSX if that good.  Mainly because the cost of makeing something that small afforidable would be $500+ at least.  As for the batery there is a rechargable but it's only Lithium, expect 10 hours or so out of it.
