Title: Crimsonland
Post by: Tage on August 12, 2004, 01:14:45 PM
Some of you may have seen this on 8Bit Theater, but he linked to an indie game called Crimsonland. The nearest thing I can compare it to is SmashTV, only you're on a desert alien planet and there are WAY more baddies. I didn't even like SmashTV that much, but holy cow, this game is so fun. It's got a free download and trial version, which I whole-heartedly recommend.

I remember that game.  Played it about 1 1/2 years ago, think I got it through a PA link or something.  It was fun but not worth buying the full game for.

Edit:  Here's my thread form a while ago

And here I thought I was on to some great discovery. Well, in that case, let me introduce you to another indie game, Gish:

The game has a wild physics engine, so much so that it's kinda fun just to move around. This one was linked from the Moonpod (makers of Starscape) website.
