Read the interview here: http://www.timewastersguide.com/view.php?id=1463

Let me reiterate in case you missed it: this game is awesome.

Speaking of which, where's a review of this?

"The actual game review itself will appear next week, but for now you can sate your curiousity on my interview with Paul Clark, one of the game developers who worked on Pox Nora."

that's the second paragraph of the article.

Psh, you people actually expect me to read these things?  Anyway I ran a quick format on it so it's easier to read.

I may actually have to try this game. What exactly do you get with the free demo thing?

I'm sad I had to pass on reviewing this game, but I was so busy with school I didn't have time to play it.

Y'know, I've been seeing adds for this in Dungeon magazine for the last few months and I've been meaning to check it out.  I think I'll do that on your recommendation, Fell...

Real live review coming this week, I promise.

Signing up for free gets you access to 8 sample decks: one for each faction and two general "light" and "dark" decks. These decks can't be modified, the runes can't be traded or put into other decks, and the units can't gain experience, but it's still a great way to check out the game for free.

I tried to check out the free game, but when I logged in I couldn't get a game.  No one wanted to play with a newb I guess.

I was fortunate when I logged in to find a game immediately, with a guy who walked me through the game very helpfully. Since then I've tried to return the favor, and ended up being a live tutorial for four or five people so far.

I got in a game last night and absolutely destroyed my opponent.  It was pretty fun, if drawn out.  I had him on the ropes almost the entire time and it still took an hour to play out.

I might just have to buy some boosters.

Cool, which faction were you using?

Uhhh...I'm not sure.  I think I was some sort of evil as I had some Fallen Knights, Blade Zombies, and Goblin Brutes.

I had some fantastic spells that won me the game.  I had two "Mobilize" which really helped turn the tide and another card that let me summon 5 zombies which held my opponent in place long enough for me to trash his shrine.

Sounds like Forsaken Wastes, which is the undead faction. They're also one of the only factions I ever had much luck winning with--maybe I should go back to them. I'm trying a Sundered Lands deck now (dragon people) and despite their coolness I just can't manage to do anything with them.

Did you buy any boosters yet?

We got a press account, so the answer is "we have boosters but did not pay for them." My name is press6--if you see me online, let's play.
