[shameless plug]
So, some of you may have been wondering, is she really as good a photographer as she says she is? To help with your further adoration of my skills, I've uploaded some of my favorite recent shots. There are more from before, but I haven't gotten around to scanning them.
Here (http://photobucket.com/albums/v407/norroway/Portfolio/) you go.
EDIT: I've split it into two albums, People and Places.

hey, those ARE really good. nice job. There are some that I particularly like the composition of.
-
Yowza, who's emily5? And is she single?
-
/me sets Tage on fire
-
see, I don't understand. Isn't he SUPPOSED to be looking for a good match? And isn't the first thing (usually) that you know about a person how they look? Isn't it therefore not only acceptable, but NECESSARY to decide whether getting to know a person better is worth it based on their appearance? A final judgement based entirely on looks is of course over the edge, but still.
Unless you're just burning people to burn them. That's cool.
-
No, I think it's perfectly cool to say, "Hey that person is hot, I'd love to go out with him/her." It is, afterall, how I first became interestes in my husband.
But Tage never really means it. He pretends to be interested in dating, but he's just as happy being a bachelor for all time as EUOL, if not more so.
And it's been such a long time since I've set anyone on fire.
-
Those pictures are gorgeous, stacer.
-
Oh, by the way, Tage, we already knew you had a thing for her. That's Belle.
-
MoD: That's mighty presumptious of you. I guess as long as we're deciding how other people feel about things, did you know you're very unhappy in your marriage and secretly like to eat cucumbers sprinkled with paprika?
Stacer: Hahaha, well, at least I'm consistent, right?
-
Those are really nice. I see a few that remind me of ones I would take composition-wise.
Where were the outdoors meadowy ones taken?
-
That's at Palmyra, New York, in the Sacred Grove (where LDS people believe Joseph Smith had his first vision). I really should label them, but it took long enough just to upload them. I suppose I'll get to labeling sometime.
-
Because I've never met you in person, Stacer: are any of those people you?
-
Not in that album. I'm in the Worldcon photos, though (click on norroway, then click on the Worldcon album). There's one of me and Kristy, and I'm in the "everybody" shot at Cheers. Look for the floating head.

I am? Oh thanks! ;)

This photo has NOTHING to do with the previous photos, but I like to follow the rule that it's always better to post in an existing thread than to start a new one.
WOMBAT = TEH CUTENESS
http://www.metalandmagic.com/Images/LJimages/digger.jpg
-
Ok, the more I look at that picture the weirder that wombat looks. Yet I am still overwhelmed with cuteness at the sight of that fat, furry, bug-eyed marsupial being cradled in some random stranger's arms.
I bet Brenna backs me up, but what do the other three girls think?
-
There is nothing on this Earth that is dumber than a wombat.
Especially a wombat trying to dig its way through a metal grid.
-
I've never seen a wombat before. You're right fuzzy, very cute.
-
Hey, thats Ursula Vernons site. I bought some art off of her recently :)
And she paints a hell of a lot of wombat pictures, so evidently she agrees with you, fuzzy.
-
What I want to know is why both of you were at a Furry website? Do we need to hold an intervention?
-
I vote we skip over intervention and move straight to execution.
-
Ya, it's a little weird looking, but it's still one of the cutest little animals to look at.
Awww, look at his widdle toes and his widdle ears. He's just so cute!
-
Yep, it's a female thing.
I read Ursula Vernon's livejournal, and she posted that pic to it. Must we now start a flame thread about furrys and anthros?
-
must you ask?
-
Excuse me for a moment while I whine about the BYU servers.
I can't look at Ursula Vernon's website, because it's blocked for pornography. You know, must be all those naked Wombats or something.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I wanted to see about getting a print of the pied anteater for my sister.
And I'm with you about the cuteness, fuzzy.
-
That's because a portion of her site *is* for adults only, so I hear. Be careful where you click.
-
Yeah, but apparently I won't be clicking anywhere at all. :( The only alternative I have is my roommate's dial-up. Somehow, dial-up with a site that's mostly images is not appealing to me.
-
Ah, Ursula Vernon. Did we ever end up using some of her work for TLE? I know that is was scouting for illustrators that led us to discover her, but I can't remember if we ever actually hired her.
-
She did the cover for the issue that just came back from the printer.
-
Just for the record, you'll find out just how cute a wombat is when you try to hug it. And when it starts scratching you with claws which are rather powerful, cause they use them for digging. And when it starts biting you. And chasing you. I've taken care of wombats, they look kinda cute sometimes (When they're not filthy from rolling in the dirt) but they're psycho.
And yes, I know what you're going to say; *that* one is being held in someone's arms. Its a baby. Not to mention the fact its probably horribly domesticated.
-
So when they go psycho do you whack them like koalas?
-
Nothing to do with being psycho. We whack Wombats purely for entertainment value.
-
No, you run the hell away. Hugging a wombat is like hugging a koala or a possum; it hurts.
-
Okay, so Eric helped me put together a nice little gallery to show off pictures. I've finally got it in a state that it's showable to other people, so here you go:
