Jeffe and I did a cheer us up lunch at Chevy's at Ballston Commons. Obviously, this also included stops at KB Toys and Suncoast.
And thus we bought a huge wad of pirates packs at 60% off, a copy of Army of Darkness for just over $4, a Predator set for cheapo, AND
this (http://www.bluemask-jp.com/SPIDERMAN/SPIDER-27.html)
it is my precious.
edit: At Suncoast I bought the last two boxes of Icons boosters they had (Heroclix), because, hey, they were 60% off. I got Rookie Joker, Beast Boy and Starfire, and Experienced Darkseid. Am I right in thinking this was a disappointing set of figs?

* Nessa shakes her head, but still grins.
Just as I start thinking of you as a grown man, SE, you do stuff like this. How many Spidey action figures is it now? You're getting quite the collection.
-
I have this big one. I have one in the original appearance costume, a "standard" Spider-Man, and one in the movie costume.
also, I have a Scarlet Spider, which is Spider-Man's clone so almost the same thing They all appear in the culminating strip of the clone saga I did on FPM (except the new one, obviously)

Yeah, I saw that. It's pretty funny.
I'm also enjoying the mean Storm ones.
-
there were supposed to be more ackbar comics, but I kept not getting the pictures taken. I need to make fun of Aquaman, emo, and political protesters, and there were ideas in that for all three
maybe I'll return.
I have some ideas for the new figure too.
-
If he's bigger than the others, how's that going to work?
-
You'll have to wait and see! *steeples fingers*
-
Holy fricken points of articulation! :o
-
Well at least he didnt mention that hack Batman.
-
I so want one of those spidies.
As for your Clix. All are good figures, especially the Joker and Darkseid, though getting any teen titans in your boosters is nothing special. They should have called Icons "teen titans" instead since you're guaranteed a starfire, beastboy or raven in any booster you buy. I think I only had 2 boosters that didn't' have a titan in them.

Very neat. I had no idea that such an articulated action figure even existed! Cool.
-
its also 18 inches tall...
-
I was excited about Darkseid, but not the others.
Oh well, it's not like I have an extensive Clix collection. I have a Hulk from a Free Comics Day a few years back, a blue beetle, and I think one other.
