Hi All,
Just joined today and after reading Warbreaker and Way of Kings in the last few months I realize I have a lot of catching up to do on the Cosmere.
Definitely going to pick up another book soon, I have seen Mistborn books in my local stores but no Elantris. is it worth hunting down a copy of Elantris prior to delving into Mistborn?
Thanks

Mistborn and Elantris are not at all interdependent. Read Brandon's books in any order you like.

Whilst not interdependent, Mistborn and Elantris are both set within the Cosmere and both contain some hints about the bigger picture. In my opinion Mistborn's more fun, but Elantris is the one people are discussing more at the moment due to the possible appearance of Elantris Characters in tWoK.

Mistborn Was fun, just finished it last night and am on to Well of Ascension.
out of curiosity and please dont give too much away but does Hoid make any more appearances in the series?
Thanks

Hoid appears in both Well of Ascension and Hero of Ages. I think he even uses the name Hoid in HoA. His appearance in WoA is a bit hard to spot, and it took a while for someone to guess it correctly and get Brandon to confirm it.
So far, every Cosmere book without exception has at least one Hoid appearance.

Yeah, Hoid appears in the Mistborn trilogy and Elantris, but it is much less significant after reading Way of Kings and seeing how involved he really is.
