Out of curiousity of where the people are that i've been communicating with name the nearest metropolitan area... or if you aren't comfortable releasing that the state is fine...
I'm in DFW, Texas
-
about 20 minutes from st. louis, MO, here. (well, technically, i'm IN st. louis right now, as I'm at work, but i LIVE 20 minutes away.)
-
Katy, Tx
-
I'm from Glasgow, Scotland.
-
I live in Moab, UT, which is 4 hrs from Salt Lake or 1 1/2 from Grand Junction CO.
-
Provo, UT here. My parents called it Zoobieville; we just call it Happy Valley or "The Bubble".
-
I'm from Glasgow, Scotland.
That's awesome. I've always wanted to visit scotland, being scott-irish myself, i hear it's nice there. (i had a friend who went over there to go to college, she said it was incredibly awesome)
-
My last name (Ballantyne) is very Scottish. Because of that, I have a poster of this comic (http://www.sheldoncomics.com/archive/090215.html) hanging on my wall. ;D

Yeah Scotland is nice, but the weather leaves something to be desired.
-
I'm McGary and that is as scotch-irish as you get...where is Katy, Texas near Austin/ San Antonio or what...(most of us don't know small towns in the middle of nowhere)
-
I'm out in Tooele, Ut. Also known as BFE, Ut.
Its about an hour west of SLC.
-
Katy is 30 miles straight west of downtown Houston.
I'm in Provo, as it says in my profile. :)
-
Ty Ookla, Houston is humid as hell...
-
I from Portsmouth, Rhode Island many miles form where most of you guys live.
-
Gaithersburg, MD. One of the best places to live imo: the weather is temperate enough that its pleasant all year round, but you still get enough change of seasons that there is always variety. Also, its so close to...well, everything. D.C., beaches, mountains, you name it.
-
Bastille, I used to live close to there, and Shaggy does live close to there. ha ha.
I currently reside in Pocatello, ID. . . ha ha. Spell check doesn't know the word Pocatello. xD
-
Yes Kaz, Houston is very humid. It is also awesome.

I figured Shaggy lived near me because we have the same time zones. Hearing you lived here is new. I lived here for 6-8 years.

Lol ryos is he holding a thermos in that pic??
-
I'm in Oxnard, CA (yeah its a real name, worse yet a family name). Nearest Metro that you'd recognize is probably Hollywood.
-
Yup I'm in southeast Connecticut (waaaaaay southeast).
-
I live in Arcadia, CA... Which is in the Los Angeles county... and I guess is closest to Los Angeles city...
-
Idaho Falls, ID, about an hour further up I-15 than miyabi. And the sad part is I still couldn't make it to the HoA Release Party because I had so much going on here.
-
You live that close and we've never partied together Andrew? We need to fix that.
-
Northern Nevada, here.
-
I'm from Woonsocket, RI, which is about 20 minutes from Providence and an hour Southwest of Boston.
-
What other Boston would be an hour northeast of somewhere in Rhode Island?
-
Tacoma WA, currently.
-
Well. If you go further north on I-15 and go east on I-90, you'll hit Bozeman, Montana, where I am 75% of the year. But today, I checked out of the dorms and I completed the twelve hour drive back to Portland, Oregon. So that's where I will be through August.
-
Yeah i am intending on living at home while attending UTD so I won't be traveling back and forth on holidays and such..means no unpacking yay!!!!!!!!!! ;D
-
I'll be moving up to Fort Worth to attend college next semester.
-
Oh, where are you going to college?
-
Kaz there is something to be said for living on or near the campus. It's important for a young man to stretch his wings and make some mistakes. We teach accountability begins as soon as you are able to understand what it means, and that can be as young as 9. You've got some catching up to do. ;)
-
I'm goin to TCU Shaggy.
-
I would have loathed staying at home for college... I needed to get away.
-
I'm cheap and i have to pay for a dorm or apartment...so as long as i behave i get to stay at home... not to mention that UTD is only a 20 min drive from my house
P.S. @ reonard i will take your comments as a joke which it was probably intended

Sorry this is late but, yeah an other person somewhere near me!!!! I was begining to think that everyone live in the other side of the country!! ;D
-
Mid-coastal region of North Carolina. About an hours drive away from Raleigh (or the beach for that matter... though I don't go as often as I really should, living so close). Two-hundred feet away from a river. On a pseudo-island... I could go on and on. ;)

There are a few of us, Bastille, that live on the good ole' East Coast. :)
I live in Massachusetts, about 30-45 minutes from Boston.

GO GO ONLY-MISSOURIAN-HERE POWERS!! My uniquness grants me my strength! :P
-
What's a Missouri? ;D
-
What you mean there is a state in the mid-west? i thought there was only wheat and corn :P
-
What you mean there is a state in the mid-west? i thought there was only wheat and corn :P
well, it's kinda like smurf village, if you don't know the way there through the wheat and corn, you'll never find it. Incedentally, Gargamel has been trying to find us recentley, too.
-
Can you help me out with the smurf reference, pretty please?
-
Gargamel or Giramael? No matter. Same thing in the end.
I went to school in Missouri and discovered it is in fact Misery. Where else would they have to name a town Normal, Peculiar or Humansville just to remind the residents?
-

Smurf village could only be found if you know the way. Gargamel was the bad guy who was always trying to find it but couldn't. It was a cartoon show for kids (and a comic book) around the late 70's to early 80's or so.

Oh yeah? where'd you study at? The only places that i know of that anyone pays any serious attention to would be St. Louis University, and Mizzou (university of missouri). And yes, it is boring here.
-
That's better than dimebox, texas (named for one of the early the toll fare's) and even better than undecided, texas
-
There are a other places that get attention. Let's see. . .
- SMSU
- Drury University
- Evangel Universtiy
- MWSU
- Washington University
- BBC
- Forest Institute
- Rockhurst
- NTS
- AGTS
A few. places, although granted, SMSU is really a party school. :D
-
"Jackpot" and "Rabbithole" are both towns in Nevada.
