Have a old lap-top you don't want

So I got an e-mail from SONY and they're currently running a promotion where you can trade in an old windows laptop for a SONY giftcard (up to $350).  You need to have a P2 processor for this promotion but I don't think that will be a problem.

Thought some of you might be able to take advantage of this.

I think I could pawn my laptop off on e-bay for much more than what sony is offering. Plus I'd doubt there'd be any gadgets I'd want to buy from Sony anyways.

Also I think the Sony deal works with dead laptops which wouldn't net you much on E-bay.

It's an 850 P3. The thing is though I upgraded the hard drive (since it died) to a 60 GB (was a 40 gb). And if I took that HD out I bet they would drop the price they'd end up giving me for the trade-in.

Which is to say that all trade-in's are usually unfair and unkempt. Take EB for example. You trade in 3 fairly unused games and end up getting probably as much as you got from the purchase of one new game. So this looks like with dollars and no cents say 3 games is equal to 1 new game, or $30 + $20 + $25 = $50.

Yeah, so where's the equality? I think this is the next civil rights movement that will be brought onto this country's soil.

Yeah, on eBay you would be lucky to get a couple hundred for that, Gemm. I just looked. I can get a 1.4Ghz with 100GB drive for under $300.
WHich makes me wonder why I haven't.
