Interview with an Indie Game Developer
« on: November 13, 2006, 12:44:44 PM »
Found this this morning on a friend's site and had to share:

This is rather cool.  I played Aveyond and enjoyed it very much.  Enough so that I'm working with RPG Maker after listening to some of her efforts and successes.  She's been the top selling game on several portals as well as from her own site.

Well worth the read!  Especially for aspiring game designers.

Well I guess that answers the question of "who" your friend with the "naming question" was and what name she ended up choosing :).

I've played those games, they're very well done and entertaining.

She's also, apparently, looking to work on one of those "game maker engines":

Heh...yep.  It does.  She didn't want me using her name on the first go 'round with the question, but figured it was okay now since she'd made a choice.  She very much appreciated the feedback.

Oooh...hadn't seen the link for the Game Creation stuff.  Neat!
