So what does an amorph in the wild have for sensory equipment? Possibly hearing (hum, I don't see ears?) -- but largely, I get the impression that his mouth is the sense organ. Which means taste/smell (which are one sense, really). I'm not quite sure whether his skin also absorbs, but it might. So it seems natural that his primary sensory experience is smell.

He's being polite! Bouquet?

And once again, I've got things exactly backwards.

OK, this is how Schlock is going to end up in the middle of things!

Nice strip. It seems to me that the buildups are taking longer in this sequence, but that the punchlines are worth it.
