Be a Superhero!
« on: December 09, 2003, 03:04:12 AM »
I noticed that the announcement on the WFE makes no mention of length for entries.  Are there any guidelines on length?

And in case WFE isn't actually accepted computer lingo, it stands for web front end.  It's a term they used at my old work; I don't know if it is of universal use.

hrm... I haven't had a job in web design for about 4 years, but it seems to me that phrase is not accurate. the front end is everything the customer sees and interacts with on the site. The back end is what happens behind the scenes. I usually use something like "main page."

500-1000 words, or more if you feel like writing a novel, but 500-1000 will be read by me.

That sounds accurate, Saint.  I guess it is a term more designed for the business to customer relationship.

Now "Woody" seems more appropriate.
