Quote
First, there was only one candidate on the ballot for each category, and no way to register a "none of the above" vote; two, the SFWA members standing for president and vice president are people who, for philosophical reasons only (having nothing to do with their respective personal characters), I would not vote for nor wish to be at the helm of the organization at this time.

He has some very interesting bullet points in his platform. I am not a member of SFWA, but if I were, I would vote for him.

I would too, for reasons I won't enumerate here. But he's got some very good points.

Don't you see?  This is all part of his plan!

He'll play nice at first, but once he gets elected he'll declare a war on Fantasy authors using his influence and SFWA's troops to systematically kill all those that don't agree with him as well as using the massive amount of resources SFWA has to finally reach his goal of true god-like power, and then not even the Scalzi-bane could stop him.

We're doomed, all doomed.

It sounds like we need someone on the inside to keep him in check.  Do you think Brandon would want to be the write in VP?  If anyone has the desire to thwart Scalzi's evil plans I think it would be him.   ;D

This sounds like the perfect time to remind everyone that my ninja monkeys are available to the highest bidder. Not that I'm advocating gorilla stacking... er... I mean assination via martial artist simians. I'm just throwing that out there.
