Title: Dursturbing Fell Face
Post by: Spriggan on September 29, 2003, 01:11:34 PM
some of you might remeber that eye in coolstuff that you could streach.  Well I found how you can do that with any picture so I present strechy Fell face:
click and drag fells face.

I was thinking it might be cool to do one for each staff member and put them in the TOC or link to them in the staff bio's page.

due to how much I enjoy twisting Fell's face around I decided it would be even more fun to do it to tage!

click on Tage's face and drag

Tage looks like a norweigan. And those pictures don't look right when you stretch them, i think they used a differnet method coz that picture they used didn't get "lines" on it.

nope same method.  It's just because the picture was smaller and less going on.  If you zoom in on the eye you get the same lines.  I can raise the number of circles (which is how the distortion works) so you see less lines, but it eats up CPU prossecer like crazy.

also the eye is set to have a certain point follow your mouse, so you can only streach it so far.  That way dosen't work realy with a face so I wanted to have you start your drag from whereever.  So you can streach it out a lot farther and it does look bad after a point.

I'm going to try.  The thing is that the pictures I took of you are all low res, so if I cannot find a better one I'll snap a high res at our next gamming session.

This is the best I can find Fell.  The reason why Tage's looks so good is in his online photo album he's got a huge shot of his mug.  I'm haveing to enlarge yours by about 300%.

I like when you can be more selective about what you distort.

I'm trying to figure out if there's anyway to allow the use to adjust the size of the area affected.
