1,115 words so far, and I'm only halfway through the scene. I don't know where the Pentacostal church came from, but I'm just going with it.

Wow, I'm a slow writer. 1903 words was close enough to 2000 when I was falling asleep and my cat was waking up enough to attack my typing fingers. But that took me from the time I started writing at 7pm till now, 10pm. But I've got some ideas flowing that I didn't expect, so I think it'll be okay for at least this week.

Fell, you said you wanted content? I'm going to post a daily wordcount on my LJ: http://www.livejournal.com/users/norroway/53489.html?mode=reply. There's little material to work with, but if you wanted to duplicate it over here (the NaNo-applicable part), you're welcome.

Oh, and e, that spreadsheet you posted a link to doesn't seem to be calculating my words per hour even though I added my hours. Does your copy work? If so, can you email it to me and I'll just replace it with my own?

Wow I'm finding that this is taking longer then expected to do even a simple game from start to finish, but I am adding a lot of extras to it.  It's only been one week since I started so I shouldn't be complaining about that even though 90% of all the code is done the extra "Jordan-izeing" of the game will probably take another week or so.  I may have to cheat and count this one as my NaNo game, especially if I get that free lance flash job.

Since NaNo is all about numbers here are mine:

716 lines of code not including the level editor (about another 500 more) or all the XML that the levels are stored in (about 300 per XML file).

Only 981 words so far, and I have to go to school now. Curses!

Well, I don't think I'll be participating this year. I've much too much to do and dwell on. Quite a harrowing semester this has been. Soon enough, soon enough.

Yeah, I wrote 350 words yesterday.  But I'm taking Tuesdays as my day off, since they are the days when I don't have 30 seconds at home to myself, so really, that's extra.  Only 2000 to go for today...

Way to be optimistic, Fish.

E, the blank spreadsheet is also full of morale notes, including some profanity.  FYI.

Excellent tool, though.

I'm starting late - going to begin prewriting now, and try to get in some words to day.  I get to play catch-up.

Did you make this spreadsheet?

yeah, I cuss sometimes sorry. I'll erase the morale notes for everyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I didn't make it no, I think there's an author's note on there somewhere. I really like it as a tool.

Edit: I removed my morale notes and my swearing. Again, I'm sorry about that.
I also noticed that some of the cells had the formulas erased and replaced by data. I fixed those too.

I also notice it's set for 2004.

Is there any easy way to shift all of the 2004 dates to 2005 in Excel?  I'm still somewhat new to Excel, wot.

uhm...

I'm dead certain I can fix that. But I'm not going to bother loading Excel on this computer. I want to go to bed BEFORE the Second Coming.

I stayed late at work because I was going to try to write, but I just can't. Nothing's coming to me, and I don't have my file to go from. And I'm hungry. And I have the 3rd disk of Firefly waiting for me in the mail at home. Okay, that was going to be something I held off on till I was done writing the goal for the night anyway, but ... I just really need to go home. Perhaps I can accomplish a lot of organization and cleaning tonight--I can't stop thinking about the laundry on the dining room table. And my poor lonely kitten.

Hopefully I'll be able to replace my power cord tomorrow, though. That'd be good.

I've managed to get in a whopping 373 words today.

But hey, it's a start.

I'm halfway done with today's goal, and now it's time for the second half. Huzzah!

Yeah, I'm a day behind.  But it's okay, because I've got the next four days off work and I'm going to WRITE rather than goofing off.  So there.
