Why does no one talk of a live-action She-Ra? She had a unicorn with wings. That has to be every little girl's dream.
If I had any clue, would I be here?

I'm not sure they could get a live action She-Ra past the censors. If you notice, there is a relation between He-Man gaining strength while simutaneously losing clothing. Same thing with She-Ra.

Man, I loved He-Man.

What other cartoon had a hero whose sole power was making his neck extend like five feet?  Sure, he was useful when you were hinding in a trench, but pretty much useless in, well, every other situation.

Heh, his neck went out a LOT further than 5 feet.  There was an episode in the newest cartoon where Mec-a-Neck went renegade 'cause he was upset about how bad his superpower sucked.  It was kinda funny.  I think that was the episode when Marduke was introduced.

Even if his neck went out 50 feet, it's still a sucky power.

I'd like to see that episode though, sounds like a hoot.

It was, just becasue he allwayse commented on how stupid his powers were.  Now if we could just get aquaman to admit the same thing.

There is the occasional situation where talking to fish is a much-needed skill.  Like if Aquaman lost his son in an underwater school field tripand had to track him down.  Yessir, he's be pleased at punch he could talk to fish then.

Heh, yeah it was pretty funny, especially cause his power saved the day... er, sort of.  lol.  But the best part was probably introducing Marduke.  Actually, I'm not even sure if he has ended up in any other episodes, but he is a fairly popular character/villian I think (as far as for MotU fans).  Basically he has this crystal artifact that makes him one of the most power sorcerers in the universe.  It was trapped inside a mountain, and he tricked Mec-a-Neck into getting it for him.

lol, MTV has everything to do with it.  See, I don't really care what kind of homoerotic stuff you want to say about He-Man.  It doesn't bother me, and its really just you that sounds gay now.

what's VH1 got to do with it. I really don't know. Did they broadcast He-Man or something?

Sorry, no, I'm the one who DOESN'T watch the naked muscle man, remember? That's YOU.

VH1 had a series of "I Love the 80s" shows waxing nostalgic with celebs about the pop culutre of the 80s. They did a bit on He-Man and definately made it slant so that you could only get the impression he was batting for the other team...or maybe catching but that's a whole 'nother thread.
