GWotW #1, Week of 11/15/04
« on: November 15, 2004, 03:25:00 PM »
Gemm's Word of the Week:

What is this? Well, we're not sure either. We don't even have the prize system worked out, we just know it's some kind of contest.

Basically, the rules are this. Our own surreal and confusing Gemm will make up a word. Your job is to guess what it is. First person to get it right (or "close enough") will get some points. Presumably points will buy a prize some time in the future.

This week's word is "Estrogenization." Your guesses are due by close of business 11/19/04 (that's Friday). Good luck.

Kind of like that Pasteururisation process in milk. A process to put female hormone into milk, so that drinking too much makes you grow breasts. Kind of like how you add fluride to water.

The act of making something that was originally more appealing to men accessible to women. Examples: lightweight tools and more luxurious trucks.

Sidenote: In case someone decides that I am sexist, I am not saying that this is true in all cases, but realistically, for the most part, it is.

Oh man, you're all doing awesome. Keep up the good work!

This is so awesome. I feel so much more fulfilled and as if I can die right now, a much better and happier person. As if I have finally attained my meaning, and by all means can go.

Keep 'em coming!

I think that the rule should be that you can post as many times as you want, but no one can repeat the definition anyone gave previously.

The reason why i say that, is that it looks liek the point system MAY involve some peole getting points if they give a cool answer or get it hafl right.

Yes, you may guess as much as you like. You will get points on creativity, and points on how close it is to my definition. So go freaking nuts! Or, just be normal, like me.
