Everything Else / Re: Worst Food Lately

I almost thought I was the only one who thought of "buniccula" as soon as I read the first post.  Good book.

Like I said, it reads like it was written by a fanboy.

Fell, I know what you mean. It seems to me that people who don't like spicy food are just unwilling to try new and spicy foods. It gets to me at times, but I tell myself that it is only a minor character flaw and that it doesn't mean anything.

Um, HI.  For quite some time I was allergic to spicy food (most of the chemicals that cause food to taste "spicy") and still am to several.  I have had far to many people assume that that means that I simply "don't like" spicy food.  To boot, I find that many people over spice their food to disguise bad flavor.  So I actaually do dislike a lot of spicy food- and for good reason.
Sorry, that was a bit of a rant

Acording to SJ games, GURPS is compatable with any other systems setting.  I've found this to be true, and that you can quite easily find or convert on your own any critters from D20.

I will point out that video games really are good for certain neral pathways development: I actually have a standing order from a phyiologist to play at least half an hour of eye-hand co-ordnation intensive games per day.

I think a better example is Babylon 5- the shadows are actually trying to help lesser species evolve via natural selection, and the Vorlons want to make each individual earn it.

/on top of soapbox and ranting
Your the kind of person who whines about how LOTR was done horribly arn't you?  Or possibly not.
I find that most people who dont like the way they did Narnia also dont like LOTR.  It bothers me that most of said people have not even read the booksuntill after the movies came out.
/off top of soapbox and no longer ranting
Or it could just be that you havn't seen the BBC version of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe.  The way I see it, this was so much better than that was that I want to wait for a bit to complain.

Just a wild idea, but has anyone looked at the U of U?  I know its a ways away from provo, but if its the only way to save TLE I'd go for it.
Like I said, just a wild idea.  I'm still in brainstorming mode.
