Was I mistaken, or did we have a meeting scheduled Tuesday night? Was there a miscommunication somewhere? Did everyone lose interest? Are we still going to do this? I still want to.

Well, Nessa said she wanted to chat this evening about the story. crap. No. and I can't till I get home, having lost my flash drive. I will try to do it the instant I get home. (about 98 mins from now)

Correction: It turns out I won't be home till about 120 minutes or so after this edit. Stupid mass transit and no one willing to drop off the car at a more convenient location....

20 pages is about reasonable, I think. Give or take a dozen. I don't want to be obligated to read half a novel (heaven knows I'm still behind on like three manuscripts I promised to read) in a short time, but I want to have a big enough chunk to give an idea of what I'm reading.
