This could be really cool, if a lot of people did it. It would help you find good books in the 'long tail'.

I've registered as firemeboy, if anybody else bothers to register, feel free to invite me as a 'friend'. Even if you hate me, I'd still like to see what is on your self.

I've never heard of that, but LibraryThing does pretty much the exact same thing. It's a lot of fun, and people are able to rate and review their books and connect and network with other people for swaps and stuff.

ChainReading is very similar too. Sounds like these others might have a few more options though. I'll probably check them out.

Ah, but ChainReading and Shalfari are free. Apparently LibraryThing costs money if you want to post more than 200 books to your profile. So, I guess it really depends on how into this thing you are, as to which place you want to go. Me, I'm a cheapo. ;)

Really? Huh. I never knew that. Haven't gotten up to the 200 mark yet--been too busy with other things.

i nearly deleted this thred. Good thing I read first, shoot later. The fact that we got two spams overnight with similar topics made me in a delete happy mood.
