There is a very good reason why I should not try adding at 4:30 in the morning. I'm actually at 2499 at this point.  ::) That's not my final for today, but it's better than 1600.

Haven't heard from MoD in over a week. Anyone know how she's doing?

Oh yeah that too, sail area can be deadly... your gonna have to take down the topgallants and keep up only the sails that are close to the deck. Think of a sail as a huge truck trailor going down the road, or a wing. The winds going to hit it and its going to want to go somewhere usually in an opposite direction. In a horrible storm you'd just cut off the masts and bob it out. But thats a last resort. Usually ships had spare masts on board.

I'm at 13,380. Now I need to sleep on where this story is headed. And plan an art activity for the Mental Health Center. I'm so productive in my sleep.

I'm at 12,050.

I think I'm going to move my sailing questions to the coastguard thread up under general.  It'll probably fit better there and annoy fewer people.   ;D

What? I'm still in the lead after four days of minimal writing? What is wrong with you people? Give me a challange.

My goal for tomorrow is to reach 20,000. I expect someone to take over my lead should I fail. If none of you can, well, I'm dissappointed in you. If *I* can do it, well, what excuse do all of you have?

The above statement makes more sense if read in the proper context: Right now, I am depressed and see no value in my life. But I'm still capable of writing, even if the novel is trash.

Tuesday was yet another ay of lost writing. I'm starting to think that trying to redo my house, sell it, and move, all while dealing with an enormous rush at work, is a bad environment for writing. I don't know how I can make up those two lost days, but doggone it I've got to try.

Don't you hate it when you try to mock someone's spelling and then you spell "the" wrong?

Yeah, I do. but I saw it right after I did it, and decided to leave it for your amusement.

I am so obnoxiously busy for the next week and a half that I am going to accomplish virtually nothing. All of my teachers have decided to give me projects, papers, or both, so I am a little crammed. When I get out of this I am going to have to write about twice as fast to get back in. Crap.
