On the other hand, you can live in God's county. ie, Virginia. Winters rarely get below freezing for long. Snow that actually manages to accumulate is almost always melted away before the next snowfall.

I like cold weather more than warm weather.

I like warm weather more than cold weather. I have nothing against mildly-cold weather, but I've spent enough time in the cold, sub-zero mid-west that I'm ready for milder winters. 42, you could have joyfully experienced such bitterly-cold weather if you would have visited me in the mid-west while I lived there.

Today in Colorado, the sun is out and it is in the mid-70s. I like it when the weather is like this.

I freeze if it gets below 70. And even that is disputable--others have said I freeze if it gets below 80.

It's my thin California blood and lack of muscle that do it to me. I love warm weather.  8) Give me a warm state--but not the desert, if I can help it.

I heard northern Cally was cold...so that must mean your thin southern California blood, or is the north not that bad?

Southern all the way, baby.

By the way, speaking of being cold, I have been freezing in my very well-airconditioned office. I have to wear pants and bring a sweater, and I'm still cold. Just a second ago the student secretary saw me shivering and went and stole the space heater from a room with two guys in it (they weren't using it, of course). So now I am happily and comfortably warm. Yay!  ;D

That happened to us when I worked in Special Collections in the library. The library--especially Special Collections--is climate-controlled for the books, not the people. And it's two stories below ground in a deep, stone-walled basement. I transcribed journals for my job--freezing in July, we had space heaters and gloves just so we could type. Our fingers just didn't work otherwise.

At the place I am working at now (which is a temp job) the front desk secretary uses a space heater year round....it could be 70 in the office and she has it going full blast......

Kill her. She's no use to anyone anyway. :|

Do we have a volunteer to do that act?
Well I am trying to get her to stop doing that.  Ever time I have to go work on her computer I ask her why she has it on.  The funniest think I that she will wear a skirt.  If you are going to be cold wear something warmer…just a thought

I am really, really happy because one of the outside cats had kittens and they are so INCREDIBLY cute and adorable that my brain can barely handle it.

Well if you're out here you can take one home in a few weeks.

Didn't you get a kitten once, stacer? And it totally turned out spastic or something? So you took it back?

Maybe I'm the one who is spastic. But I swear I remember you getting a kitten and then deciding against it...
