Grrr...XBOX Probs

So I've neglected my XBOX for a week or so as WoW has hooked me.  It worked fine last time I played.  Now, a week later, with no known tragedies affecting it, it refuses to power up.

No power at all.  I've tried many different outlets.  I hope it's just my cable and not my power source.  I guess I have to call tech support.

thats ok I was having live issues today... I have a crappy connection and so I keep blinking when Im playing Crimson skies...

Halo 2 works well though... no lag...

We left ours alone for a few months, and the exact same thing happened.  Let me know what you find out.

Got a new power cable.

No luck.

I had the exact same problem I sent it to some x-box shop thing that my friend knew about it came back BRAND NEW and in a different color. It costs a pretty penny but it is worth it!

How much is a pretty penny? Would it be worth it just to buy a new Xbox?

Well buying a new x-box would cost more but not too much more the cost is 240.

A new XBox is $180. You're saying this "fix" costs $240. Now, thats a rather large gap of money for someone who is rather frugal and actually has some budgets to think about.

maybe he did this back when the X-Box was $300.  But that was like 2 years+ ago.
