Ok, here's a question: What exactly are the judging criteria? What attributes will decide the winning entry? Will it be originality? Appropriateness to the genre? Overall Interest? Whichever would make the best basis for a story? A combination of these and others?

I had one, but I'm a staff member so that excludes me from entering (that and the fact I don't play that game so there's no point of getting it).

No it doesn't,
remember you and I have an antagonistic relationship, the only person that can't enter this contest is me, since Im giving the book away and it belongs to me. And you dont need to use the system to get some great ideas for superhero fights.

So did anyone actually submit anything?  I had an idea I was interested in working out, but it was too low on my priority list.  Sorry.  Maybe I still will anyways.

You shouldn't submit yourself.  You should commit yourself.

I'm working on one right now. Sort of. I'm trying to get a superhero out of it. But after reading some of H.P. Lovecraft's stories from "Dreams of Terror and Death" I just can't get it out. So the back story is going to be kind of gruesome. Plus I think I'm going to keep out the superhero bit and submit it to the school newspaper when I return as a short "horrorish" story.

I'm almost done. The end for the horror story is coming up soon. And then there's just tacking on the superhero bit as well. I've even thought up a cool name for him.
