*giggle* Smallville

heheheh.
No, just kidding. I have no idea. I don't put any credit whatsoever in awards shows that are run by their own industry to give themselves awards and publicity. Therefore, it never angers me when a show gets an award I don't think it deserves.

Honestly, do any theme songs deserve an award?  Okay - maybe the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

At the time the show came out, it was very cool.  At least it was a real song by a real artist (and a talented one at that) - rather than just a catchy jingle.

Oh - and I'll add the theme to The Gary Shandling Show.

Is Monk going to Las Vegas soon? Even if he does go there he wouldn't be able to do much- because of his obsessive compulsive disorder and a fear of crowds.

You certainly jump around a lot Wolverine.

The entire show is based on his inability to do much - there isn't an episode that goes by where he isn't paralyzed by fear about something or other.

But why would he go to Las Vegas?  Is this just some wish of yours, or do you have a reason to think he might go?  You might just as well say: I wonder when the Enterprise crew will go to Jupiter.  They couldn't do much there - because of the lack of oxygen and stable land mass.

Well since the original post was about TV serials being shot in Vegas and since the last post related to Monk, I just wanted to know what would be the plot like, if Monk was shot in Vegas.

Mustard, you're forgetting that just because the Enterprise goes to Jupiter doesn't mean that they have to get out and walk around--they could encounter a spaceborne anomaly and just stay in the ship. Unless you're implying that the spaceborne anomaly would directly affect the ship's life support and structural integrity, thus removing their breathable atmosphere and stable landmass.

You know what i always wondered? In First Contact, worf takes down a borg in melee combat and it's shield doesn't kick in.
A) Do their shields only protect against energy?

If they do then...
B) Why not give the crews of starships shotguns?

If that doesn't work...
C) Why not give the crews swords and axes - the borg are melee only but they stink at it. They have no actual weapons apart from a piddly little saw. Just get a bunch of red-shirts to go after the buggers with double handed axes.

I think about wierd stuff way to much.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

I have a fourth question Entropy:

When are the Borg going to Las Vegas?

And Fell:

Of course that was what I was implying.  Duh.

The borg are just space zombies anyway, so going after them with shotguns seems ideal. Axes would be good too, but not as good as chainsaws. You know, that just might be the franchise that saves Star Trek: a Borg Hunter show starring Bruce Campbell.
