Uhm.. YEah. The review pretty much says it. I was angered on how this book went. I had to force myself to finish it. No one has good motivations and nothing really happens. What DOES supposedly happen is deflected by the narrative. *sigh.*

The review does bring up a point that someone I was showing the sight pointed out for me once. Even for a poor review like this, we gave three out of six clocks. (Nothing against the reviewer at all. The issue is probably with our guidelines.) In order for our clock ratings to mean something, shouldn't reviews like this give fewer than half?

Unless I was reading the article wrong or something. I didn't see any sort of redeeming feature of the book mentioned though.

perhaps I was giving too much weight to the verbage. I did say that the sentences themselves were ok. The wording and description is fine. However, the plotting and characters are very poor.

My favorite part was when Harry won the Quidditch Cup!  That was sweet.

Of wait... Prisoner of Haven?  Never mind.

Good grammar and usage is a one clock rating. I figue most people who read books don't care about the verbage. Particulalry since the largest group of leisure readers are under 18.

I concede the point. I will downgrade the score.
