I'm using this forum section because, well, while this article started off as a rant responding someone who dismissed my role on this site as nothing, it turned into useful information for anyone who wants to review for us.
I'm not sure it merits even more discussion, but if you disagree or have a refinement, feel free to comment. I will say that as I was choosing "tenth grade" as the minimum command of the ENglish language, I thought specifically of the standard five paragraph essay that HS students are taught (intro paragraph, 3 supporting body paragraphs, and a conclusion) is actually one of the most useful essay structures in the world. It hardly restricts, and it gives an order and balance to your essay that makes it easy to read.

Well, I'm glad you thought of it instead of mentioning it. =P

I'm a big fan of indefinite articles. The definite ones are so... final.
