Congrats! It's a start!
"Magic is what makes fantasy fantastic," someone says, "you can't apply rules to them or else it loses wonder!" I respond, "Sure, but if you want to write them you will certainly want to know how they work." Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

Stacer, how many jobs have you applied for? Do you...have some magical way to get an interview at companies that haven't asked you for an interview? >_>
Yeah, that thought crossed my mind when I posted it 'cuz I know you're still looking and Manga is your specialty. Sorry.
Then again, maybe they would find you too good to pass up and create a higher-paid position for ya? A longshot, I know. But I've heard of it happening.
I have a potential job offer that would pay less than I make now *and* it's in a more expensive city--Boston.
I found Alcatraz in the Children's section, not YA where I think it should go, for the same reason.
