As am I. This sounds awesome.

Gotten a little rusty on posting articles there old man, instead of linking to the form thread in the blurb and artilce you were just re-linking to the article again bascially creating a never-ending trap of links.

Saw Matt Damon on Leno the other night. He said to be sure and take a visit to the little boys/girls room before sitting down to this one. You WILL not want to miss a minute. OH! Can't wait. And it's less than 24 hours away.

I liked the first movie, and appreciated aspects of the second movie but didn't exactly LIKE it. It was sad! And depressing! I am unlikely to see the third movie anytime soon if it is more like the second than the first. The second was very gritty in its violence, and not a lot of fun. I like action movies like the recent Die Hard, but if the action is too realistic/gritty it gets unpleasant. How does this film compare to Die Hard?
(BTW I recently read the first book, and having seen the first movie basically spoiled nothing for me. I expect the next two books to be not even remotely like their movies.)
But also... There have recently been two more books written by someone else. So there are two move movie titles they could use; do you really expect them to stop making these movies?

You're spot on about the books. The first book/movie is about a close as it gets. The second and third books are SO entirely different from the movies (I can easily say this with confidence even though I haven't seen Ultimatum yet) that you probably won't even recognize them as being in the same general realm of storyism. Well, except for the fact that Jason Bourne is in them. :) I haven't heard anything about more movies, but I have heard some critics saying that after this one, they'd definitely like to see at least one more for Bourne. I can't say that I be disappointed in that as long as the movies kept headed in the same direction.

I'm sure the studios would love to have more in the series, but Damon has said many times that he refuses to do any more. that could always change, I suppose, but you know.

And so many other great possibilities (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=431654) too. (I'm fond of "Bourne Again")
-
I like "Bourne on the Bayou" and "Bourne Yesterday."

I've seen two of these now, and while they're fun to watch and have some really good action, for some reason I just am not super excited about them.
Though I did discover that if you want to be a famous international spy you have to have the initials J.B.
Jason Bourne, Jack Baur, James Bond
