Title: Panelists Needed for LTUE
Post by: Fellfrosch on January 11, 2005, 06:37:10 PM
See my news post here: http://www.timewastersguide.com/view.php?id=949

LTUE is a great con at BYU that has suffered a bit the past two or so years (ever since Skar left, basically), but I've been very impressed with the current management staff and I think this year's will be great. If you want to be on a gaming panel, please sign up. I'm thinking of signing up for the one about teaching gaming to children.

I'm already on three. Couldn't really help with the gaming, however.

hum. They uselay don't have gamming pannels.  Wonder how they got that past the faculity that frown on LUTE being anything but sucky?

lol.  Sprig, LTUE is a symposium, not a con.  It's SUPPOSED to be dry and academic a lot of the time.  That's why they don't normaly do things like gaming rooms and the like.

Edit:  Oh, and Fell, I'm probably on like a dozen panels already.  I'll let others handle this one.

heh. they aren't exactly paying transportation, are they? I mean, if they were, I'd be happy to present on Science as Magic in speculative fiction.

They could Teleconfrence :).  All they need is a laptop and an internet connection.
