You're probably right. *sigh* I guess everyone can't be as intelligent and talented at contributing to discussions as I am, so I shouldn't judge.  ;D

Yes...intelligent...talented...those two words practically define you. [/sarcasm]

Actualy I was focusing more on her Nievity in the idea that anything like the UFP would actualy work

It was tried before already.

It failed in Russia
It is disolving in Asia, or only held together through Totalitariasm
It degraded into a Dictatorship in Cuba
Alles!!!

Vulcans and warp drive. That's why communism doesn't work. Because people feel and have to walk to the next star system over.

Comunism + Human Emotions = Fail

It cannot work.  Greed or Laziness will always cause failure
Communism will lead to, Evolution to Capitalism (Vietnam), Economic Collapse(USSR), or Totalitariasm(North Korea and Stalinist USSR)
Alles!!!

The reason it works in StarTrek is...

1) No world hunger or need for necessities.
2) Everyone is really... nice.
3) Women wear form fitting clothes instead of skirts.

I watch a lot of star trek, I know what I talk about. :D

Yeah, I agree. I definitely think it was those ugly old dresses that made Communism in Russia so terrible. I know I'd be miserable if I had to wear them.  ;)

Oseleon, have you always been this boring or is your lack of a sense of humour a recent thing?
