A copy has been recovered?
"Magic is what makes fantasy fantastic," someone says, "you can't apply rules to them or else it loses wonder!" I respond, "Sure, but if you want to write them you will certainly want to know how they work." Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

None ever did to me what Mistborn, Elantris and Warbreaker did, however. And now, I'm just a huge fan of Brandon. What's left for me to do, is try to convert my fellow Dutchies to fans as well. Noone's ever even heard of him! It's just a matter of time! I love that Brandon's younger than me and a prolific writer...just means that we'll be seeing a LOT more of him! (but never quite enough...*sigh*)
I think Allison Scagliotti is a little too... well, boy-ish, to play Siri. I imagine Siri more like the cute girl that's a little mean on the inside. A little like Mackenzie Rosman, maybe. You're right...she'd make a MUCH better Vin. I like the wit and the self-doubt that she brings (doesn't hurt that she's cute, either).
Allison Scagliotti would be an awesome Vin, though!
