Anti-Rant
« on: November 07, 2004, 03:54:47 AM »
Soooo anyway...life is fabulous, and I've got no complaints. So I take back all my old rants. God's hand is extremely obvious in my life right now, and all my old complaints are cleared up. What God had planned for me wasn't what I had in mind, but it turns out what he had for me was much better than I could imagine.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good too. This weekend has been rather good to me. I've got no complaints, other than for... well, no. She's actually not being as confusing as others I've known. I'm on top of my world, and there are probably things that can knock me off it, but I'll leave them to themselves for now.

Yay Ookla! Yay Gemm!

I'm happy for you. That's really great. And Ookla, I know what you mean--I've found that many times in my life, I dig in my heels and insist that I must be right, but once I start to accept the Lord's will, it's so much better than I could come up with for myself. It's strange how being utterly wrong about what you ought to be doing can sometimes bring you the most happiness.

plus, I get to be the Sunday School techer for 16-17 year olds. This is like being a High School teacher without worrying about teen violence and having a slightly more responsive audience. And also I don't get paid. And also, I don't have to have them 5 times a week, just once.

Ok, so really, it's not much like being a High School teacher. ANd I think for that I am glad. Anyway, it's cool. I get to mold and shape young minds to my will!

Isn't it fun, SE.  I teach the 13/14 year olds Sunday School.  Some days it feels like I'm spending the entire time explaining all the things they haven't learned yet (like the Abrahamic covenant and Jacob/Israel being the same people).  Ahh, such innocent children.

Yay Ookla and Gemm!  I'm so happy for you!  I feel the same way.  Once I started doing what the Lord wanted, my life to a huge upward swing and I feel very happy with myself now.

Yes. Or rather, new and improved Karen ver. 2.0. (5.5?) Anyway I'm also not exactly the same person I was back then. Time has the tendency to do that to people.

Now...if anyone's concerned about this...well, judging from how things went before, concern is definitely logical.

I haven't really talked to anyone here about it except for stacer for maybe a couple reasons...she's on AIM fairly often, and she never knew Karen.

Hmm...well, talking to fuzzy on AIM now. Anyway, I think a forum is not a good place for the personal details for anyone who knows me well enough to have good reason to hear them. Interaction is preferred.

Anyway...there's no logical explanation for love.

Ookla, I hope I didn't give anything away you didn't want to share. I figured since you mentioned her name, you were being a little more open about it.
