Country Inn & Suites, South Jordan
« on: January 31, 2005, 03:07:05 AM »
Hey!

Does anyone know anyone who has stayed at this hotel? Looking around online this place seems to have what I want at quite decent rates. If I were there in Utah I'd go look at it myself, but maybe someone here can help me out...

Not looking for super-classiness or anything like that. Just looking for a nice 3-starish place...with some specific amenities they have......... This seems to have what I'm looking for, but if anyone has any horror stories or bad reviews I'd like to hear. I found one tiny (positive) review online (at travelweb) but it's got no specifics at all.

...Don't laugh at me... >_>

All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Sorry, but I can recommend a few bed and breakfast places.

Most of the Cottontree Hotels are pretty nice, Ookla.  (Three star-range.)  There's one in Sandy.

Private message, EUOL.

And if Fell reads this thread, I sent him a private message a couple days ago as well!! (On a completely different matter.)

I've stayed in a country inns and suites before and it was quite nice.

I still suggest a B&B.

Fuzzy, check your private messages...

Does this forum have a normal, easy way to get to the private messages? The only way I see is to click on someone's profile, go to "send this user a private message," then on the screen that pops up click on "Instant Message" at the top under "The Time-Waster's Guide Forums."

On the index page, at the very bottom, to the north - east of the list of user names there is a line saying 'Private Messages: 0 or whatever, with the number being a hyperlink.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Ah. Well, that saves one click...

What's inherently better about B&Bs? I've read on some websites that they can be bad for people who just want to be alone, since they try to foster a community feeling.
