I want to see an ad for a frog. Like maybe a frog for sale, or some frog paraphernalia. A frog who fights crim would be cool, but, you know, I won't hold it against adsense if I don't get one.
Anyway: frog, I choose you!
-
Dang, no frog's yet. We must fill this thread with froggy goodness.
-
Frog went a-courtin', and he did ride.
With a sword and a pistol by his side.
Um...
It's not easy being green?
-
I just saw the following in the Google ads on this page:
Frog Legs
Fresh seafood including frog legs &
alligator shipped to your door.
-
I got the same as Eric plus an add for a place to buy frog food.
I wonder if they have anything on ninja monkeys. Monkeys and bananas and black belts and ninjas and karate.
-
Shoot. It came up with "money" not "monkey." What kind of crap system does google have? >:(
-
My Kermit the frog reference got me "The Green Guide
The Source for Eco-Friendly Advice. Product Reviews, Shopping Tips. "
I second the ninja monkeys. We need to buy ninja monkey products.
-
I got find local frogs.
But I need to find Ninja Monkeys.
-
I got find maryland frogs and frogs legs and fresh seafood delivered to your door. Success!
Which is cool, because now all we have to do is talk about stuff and we dont even have to surf google to find it. Google just finds it for us and gives us a link!
I wonder if they have any frog habitats?
-
no!
Frog habitats!
-
LoL. What did it give you, "How to kick the frog habit" ?
;)
-
sadly no, it gave me non frog related stuff... I'd talk about it but it wouldnt be about frog habitats...
the link I did get told me more how this stuff works, so Im trying to skew the system.
I had a friend who used to work at hidden valley nature center. they had frog habitats there, terrariums too.
-
or not.
-
Children's Chandelier
Chandelier LampsPlus
How is did that work?
-
it provided a link to a spiffy Frog Cowboy Children's Chandelier
-
Well, now I'm getting "Brandee Danielle Bedding" and "Brandee Danielle Store." How'd it get that? It's so weird.
-
Man, why I can't I get frogs? Or frog habitats? I think we should start subsituting the word "frog" for everything we can: I want this frogging thing to frog me a frog about frogs, and I want it frogging now!
I sound like a smurf.
-
There are around 3,900 species of tailless amphibians, or Anura, also called Salientia, including the frog and toad.
Amphibians
Frogs are members of the zoological class called Amphibia. Amphibians are cold-blooded (or poikilothermic) vertebrate animals. They differ from reptiles in that they lack scales and generally return to water to breed. They are one of three types of Amphibians. Anura, also called Salientia, (frogs and toads), caudate (salamanders and newts) and caecilians (worm-like amphibians).
Herps and Herpetology
Amphibians together with reptiles make up a larger group called Herps. The study of reptiles and amphibians is called Herpetology. Herp comes from the Greek word herpeton, which basically means "creepy crawly things that move about on their bellies."
A herptile is an individual herp. A person who keeps and breeds herps is called a herpetoculturist and the hobby is called herpetoculture.

-
I got an add for multi-screen monitors. Does that help?
-
I'm getting baby crib bedding. Where are my frogs?
-
Brandee Danielle Bedding has the frog key word taken, there are several bedspreads that have frogs on them.
-
Right now we're getting pure hurricane donation links, on every page of the site. Did we somehow anger the Google gods?
-
I'm getting Brandee Danielle Bedding, VBulletin forum software, that sort of thing. Must be that the Google gods just don't like you.
-
augh. Too many *wedding* ads.
Oh, but I do get a good chuckle every time I see this one: "Brandon's Finest Florist"
-
Just got this one:
Gorillas - www.worldwildlife.org/gorillas
World Wildlife Fund Pictures, info & more.
For the benefit of those, like Google, who cannot tell the difference: Gorillas are large warm-blooded creatures living in jungles, while Frogs are small cold-blooded creatures living in France.
-
Okay, I'm not getting any cool ads.
And still no ads for Ninja Monkeys.
-
Frogman Art
The Complete Collection. Bronze Frogs by the world-renowned Frogman
-
I found ads for frog food as well.
Speaking of frogs, I thought this was hilarious:
http://www.myspace.com/sadkermit
-
Yay! I can see the Google ads again! Oh, wait . . .
And just to make Fell happy:
frogs, frog legs, amphibians, Kermit the frog, frog food, frog paraphernalia, froggy, Green guide . . . uhm, I'm out of ideas.
-
I got Capuchin Monkeys - A link to eBay, and Animal Adoption, which had a picture of a monkey/gorilla on the page.
But no ninjas.
-
I found ads for frog food as well.
Speaking of frogs, I thought this was hilarious:
http://www.myspace.com/sadkermit
hahaha, bookmarked.
-
We definately need more ninja ads. And frog ads. Ninja frog! Ninja frogs! Ninjas!
And not necessarily the teenage mutant turtle type.
-
...And not necessarily the teenage mutant turtle type.
*gasp* Don't tell me you think TWG wouldn't be improved by some heroes in a half shell and some turtle power! :o
-
Personally, I'm all about Donatello. But you have to admit that ninja frogs would rock.
-
hahaha, bookmarked.
Oh, that IS hilarious.
-
Just a sign that I have monkeys on the brain...
So I'm browsing wikipedia and looking at a list of "Number-one dance hits of 2003" and I thought it was really weird that Cher had made a song called "When the Monkey's Gone"
Money, monkey, what's one letter between friends? Or fiends.
-
I like that the google ads are quickly becoming a TWG plaything. We cant possibly get rid of them now. ;) ;D
And I haven't gotten one link for frogs. Sad!
I, however, would much rather have ads for kookaburras.
Kookaburra! Kookaburra!
-
not one,... No frogs at all?
-
frog, frog, froggie frog!
SLAIN BY THE NINJA MONKEYS!
no kookabura.
-
I know everyone else is seeing steak ads on the "New local authors" thread, but all I get is
"Work At Home Jobs Scams"
-
(http://www.saintehlers.com/misc/images/frogs.png)
-
Man, all I'm getting is ecommerce templates.
Frog frog frog!
-
Frog, Frog, Frog, TOAD!
-
discovery frog pond!
-
(http://www.saintehlers.com/misc/images/notfrog.png)
MOOOOOOOOOOOONKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!
-
Frog legs, frog legs, frog legs so fine!
Hoppers is the place you should dine!
-
I keep seeing hundreds of frogs on tiny little crutches.
Crutches?
-
So this thread has got me thinking.
Are there any frog themed comic-book characters? The only one I can think of is Marvel's Toad.
-
Toad isn't really a 'super hero' per se is he?
-
Per se.
And Toad is disgusting, and more of a supervillain. I can't imagine a good superhero from a toad, at least given only the powers that Toad has.
-
Per se.
Touchẻ
-
That is why I didn't specify Super-Hero. Only comic book characters. Did TMNT ever have a frog mutant?
-
I need to read more carefully, even if just for small inscrements of time. I think My brain could take it....
*Gasp* I thought wrong! My cerebral cortex just imploded vigorusly and I now have super dense type of black hole forming in my head. The Paris Whole!
-
In high school I wrote three issues of a comicbook called Frogman.
-
(http://www.saintehlers.com/misc/images/notfrog.png)
MOOOOOOOOOOOONKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!
How do you get that boxy-type thing?
KOOKABURA MONKEY NINJA FROG
And a new one; ELF
-
what, you mean the picture? I just take a screen shot, crop it, and upload it.
-
KOOKABURA MONKEY NINJA FROG
And a new one; ELF
So now we a looking for an amphibious bird/mammal that's androgynous and is a ninja by trade?
O where O where has my Elven Kookabura Frog Monkey Ninja gone? O where, O where can it be?
-
what the heck is this?
-
I still don't even get anything organic, let alone frog-related, so at least Tony Robbins is a step above that.
-
I'm getting a Poison Dart Frogs link on the "recent posts" page.
-
You guys are special. I practically always get this:
Free Message Boards and Ecommerse Templates
No fun links for me!
-
That's exactly what I get, Tink. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Frogs!
-
what, you mean the picture? I just take a screen shot, crop it, and upload it.
I didn't frogging understand a SINGLE ninja word you elven said, mr MONKEY!
-
That's Mr. MAN to you
Screen shot: a graphical file of the current appearance of your screen or part of your screen. Easily obtained by pressing PrtScn on your keyboard (or ALT-PrtScn if you wnat just the one window), then opening a graphics program (even Paint) and pasting it. YOu can paste it into Word as well.
Crop: to cut off the portions of an image that are not desired, leaving you only with the important part.
I'm not going to even pretend you don't really know what "upload" means.
-
Can we settle on Mr. MONKEY-MAN?
Thanks for the info; as you can see I'm not so good at the complicated stuff on computers. I am a bit of a frog elven ninja when it comes to those areas.
GOOSE
-
No. It's Mr. Man. It always has been. Always will. The Ninja Monkey Assassin Priests will kill you if you attempt further negotiation on the matter.
-
Mr. Man, why don't I get any fun links--amphibious, monkeyish or otherwise. :( I want a frog terrarium, not a stupid alarm clock!
-
(http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/TWG1.jpg)
-
Hey! How come I didn't get any frogs? Frogs! Frogs! POISON FROGS!
-
(http://www.saintehlers.com/misc/images/frog3.png)
-
frogs, frogs, poison frogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!Huzzah Poison Frogs!
-
Happy day! Ribbbet. ;D
-
BISCUT-NO-HANDS-MAN!
-
The only time I've seen anything for frogs was when I clicked back to the first page of this froggin' thread.
frogs frogs frogs frogs froggy legs poison dart frogs!
-
I was hoping this would be more than the war of "Frogs vs. Monkeys."
-
There definitely need to be more monkeys. And ninjas. And ninja monkeys. And ninja monkey assassin priests.
-
And somehow e's comment generates a link for multi-screen monitors. I'm frogged up to here with this froggin' piece of frog.
-
We need more froggy goodness around here, that's for frogging sure.
Frogger would be good.
-
Yes! Fast cars and frogs. Perfect!
-
Well, the frogs are getting me no where, so how about some tea kettles. Yes, that's right tea kettles, cause I'm in the mood for some nice tea. Tea leaves, and tea company, and Boston tea party, and tea cups and all the tea goodness of the world.
-
Give us some frogging tea!
-
Man, Am I blast the vent core sick of seeing blast the vent core Xbox360 give away adds. >:( Frog blast the vent core!
Hehe:

-
I got links to buy Tibetan Robes and Monk Robes.
I'm sure the Elven Kookabura Frog Ninja Monkeys could use those.
-
No. It's Mr. Man. It always has been. Always will. The Ninja Monkey Assassin Priests will kill you if you attempt further negotiation on the matter.
I don't expect to be threatened, even by MONKEYs.
Anyway, I'm guarded by Elven Kookabura Frog Monkey Goose Ninjas! Ha ha, in your face Mr Monkey-Gorilla-Chimp-Orang-Utan-Man.
-
I got links to buy Tibetan Robes and Monk Robes.
I'm sure the Elven Kookabura Frog Ninja Monkeys could use those.
It's probably the elf part generating the robe-mania.
Sorry about talking to myself but it's too darn hard to get those pesky quotes to come on twice.
*head in hands, sobbing
Why are you so mean, quote-man?!
-
42, here is you add:
-
I don't expect to be threatened, even by MONKEYs.
Anyway, I'm guarded by Elven Kookabura Frog Monkey Goose Ninjas! Ha ha, in your face Mr Monkey-Gorilla-Chimp-Orang-Utan-Man.
You obviously haven't paid enough attention to realize what the monkeys can do. YOu will know fear.
-
. . . and pain. Much pain.
We, of course, will know amusement as we joyfully watch the attack. ;D
-
I am shaking...
Monkeys are able to do some things, I suppose. It's a shame they can't spell, e!
Oops, have I said too much?
-
still trying to figure out what you mean by that.
Tip: When insulting, it has a bigger impact if you speak comprehensibly.
-
Ha ha ha ha you can't spell!
Is that plain enough?
-
It would make sense if it was based on something, I suppose.
-
Well, it's a shame you can't imagine any context possibly applicable to my insults?
-
I can imagine if I had made a post recently with some horrible misspellings it would have been a decent response. You have much to learn, my young padawan.
-
Well...ok...you're almost perfect. I couldn't think of anything else to say to insult you. I'm sorry.
*Hangs head in shame and sobs.
-
That's SE. Practically perfect in every way. ;)
-
One thing I wonder about him (apart from his...erm...still can't insult him :-[ ) is how the SE thing came about.
Any answers, Mr Perfect NINJA MONKEY...
And his fishy friend (and why the screenname MsFish, as well)
do you object to the nickname Fishy?
-
His real screen name is SaintEhlers, Ehlers being his last name. So he's SE, no matter what other cover name he may presume to give himself. ;)
No, actually, I really like being called Fishy.
As for where the nickname came from, let me find the thread. One moment please.
-
sounds fishy to me.
-
http://www.timewastersguide.com/boards/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=rantage;action=display;num=1090186879
There it is. ;D
-
sounds fishy to me.
Which part? Or was it purely a pun?
HA HA either way!
There it is. [quote/]
I'm glad I didn't offend you! ;)
-
Q.Which page?
A.Found it but was only scanning so didn't understand. Would you like to tell me or insult me on a large scale for being a useless newbie?
No offence to you; just to me.
-
Why? You're a little far away for random midnight fishings.
-
Which part? Or was it purely a pun?
Mostly I was just pun-ishing you.
-
No, actually, I really like being called Fishy.
This is really random, but I was playing on the XBox with a DVD of all the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, etc. games and I came across Jeopardy!. So me and my husband played and one of the answers was "fishy." Too bad you weren't there :).
-
That's awesome.
-
(http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/TWG2.jpg)
-
hahaha! The girls' conversation strikes again!
-
As for where the nickname came from, let me find the thread. One moment please.
haha. That's funny--and interesting. I always wondered about your nickname, but I never got around to asking. Hmm, makes me wish my nickname had a more amusing explanation. Eh, oh well.
Speaking of fish, though.... My roomie's new boyfriend is vegetarian and lately they keep heating up this dreadful soy fish. Uck! It smells horrible. Okay, okay, I don't like the smell of fish in general. BUT how in the heck did they get a slab of soy to smell like such a horribly ripe piece of fish?? It's unnatural, I tell you, unnatural!
So I wish google would give me some good organic food links so that I don't have to live with a fishy microwave. *sigh*
-
I think this is the thread you're looking for Fish:
http://www.timewastersguide.com/boards/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=other;action=display;num=1081159522;start=13
Btw, I love your little fish-shark picture. Very cute!
-
Thanks!
That thread is the one where everyone explained their usernames, but it doesn't have the explanation of mine on it. The thread I posted is the one from where I joined TWG...when I got accused of "stalking" EUOL.
-
lol, now I remember that! That was a funny thread to follow cause it was always so random, and everyone was trying to figure out if they knew you.
-
Yup, that's the one. Ninja monkey stalking and all.
-
(http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/TWG3.jpg)
Cheese!
-
(http://www.saintehlers.com/misc/images/adsagain.jpg)
So... that was just so weird. I can't figure out what on the recent posts threads made that combination of ads worthwhile
-
Turtles need day jobs too, apparently...
-
And this is just gross:
Fishy Odor
"How to Smell Fresh at all Times"
68000 Women Already Know
and then this with it:
$15 Random Tees
Tee shirts that make you smile
Great Prices, Hilarious Shirts
-
The feminine hygiene links have been removed. Let me know if you see any others.
-
(http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/TWG4.jpg)
Huh? Any speculation as to how this showed up?
-
*sigh* Guess I have to get in on this. I'm not making this up in anyway, shape or form.
-
I'm guessing you can thank Shrain for that one.
-
I like how poop deoderant is a "nice gift"
That's what I'm giving to my wife for our anniversary. Think she'll like it?
-
I'm guessing you can thank Shrain for that one.
Hey!! I deny everything, of course. (But, if we're pointing fingers . . . . The real culprit is our pal, the Bot, whose aversion to prawns is related to said substance).
-
I love how at the moment, I'm getting an ad on the main page for the forum that is in an Asian language. Where'd that come from?!
-
Im guessing somewhere in Asia.
-
Hey!! I deny everything, of course. (But, if we're pointing fingers . . . . The real culprit is our pal, the Bot, whose aversion to prawns is related to said substance).
I dont like prawns.
Hang ting tong!
-
I just got a google ad in Kanji. (Sorry if I misspelled that.) My best guess for the product is video games. Weird.
-
Ya I just got that, it's for the company that makes Ragnarök online.
-
(http://www.vanessakchristenson.com/images/TWG7.jpg)
Looks like EUOL has been busy.
-
Yeah, but he'll need more than flowers come July. ;)
-
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but in "Cool Stuff", the fratboy poem, all the google links are for hair replacement.
;D
-
While reading the thread for the new article about working in a gaming store the ads I got were for color contacts and a goth dating site.
How do you think I'd look with red eyes? ;D
Oh, and I thank Eagle Prince's questions about Vampire for the second link.
-
Goth dating??? Hmm, must have been the keyword "Monster".
