Little Wil, I googled it. So now I know that trolling is 'Being a prick on the Internet because you can.' Thanks!

As soon as I get out of prison, I'm gonna go pick a fight with one of those walking vegetals.…

What have the vegetables ever done to you?

Not that I care either way.  ;)

Has anyone heard the song 'Don't Fear the Reaper?' I know, it sounds kind of weird, and I don't even really care for the song that much it's just that it has this really cool guitar solo in the middle that I love.

Are you referring to the song done by Blue Oyster Cult? A classic.

Indeed it is. I was just listening to their Spectres album (their best, IMHO). Pure brilliance.

For the past few days I've been on a 90's kick, so I've been listening to Sister Hazel, Tonic, Reel Big Fish, Third Eye Blind and some Cranberries.  :)

I'm grumpy because my boss is, for lack of a better word, an idiot.

Instead of asking the people who have seniority if they want more hours/shifts, she goes ahead and hires 15 new people. Well, obviously those people need a place to work, so a few of us who actually have worked there for a little while lost our shifts.

But did the fact that you ended up in prison prove you were a good street brawler, or that you got whooped and woke up in prison?  I now have a new fear that whatever scared me is going to scare Cthulhu any day now.......

Would I still be scared if I knew before hand I was going to be scared?  :o

I'd offer my services to help you through your fears, but yeah.  ;D

This boredom is really starting to annoy me. I don't think the life of servitude is for me to be honest.

I finally stopped playing EQ2 because it kept crashing on me.  :(

Now I'm on the Turalyon server, Horde side.  ;D

Well I like my title so I don't have much to rant about…so I probably shouldn't be in this thread, right?

As long as the discussions are about the titles, then there is no reason for you to leave.  :)

I might have be in need of some absolution, too, after I'm finished with Jade….  ;D just kidding

Threads have a way of evolving, Jade. To say something is off the topic of a thread would mean that a lot of the long threads' later posts are off topic….

But sorry. I'll try to go off on less tangents.

It depends on the thread. If it's a thread for a debate about something, it evolves as new ideas and/or arguments are brought to the conversation.

In the thread, however, it is suppose to be just for ranting about your title.  :)

Movies and TV / Re: Push - the Movie
« on: January 13, 2009, 10:31:57 PM »
I'm normally pretty hesitant to spend money on movies like this because Hollywood generally gets them wrong.  Most of the time these movies are all special effects and no story line, which makes for a boring movie for me. I guess that's why I wouldn't be too excited about a Mistborn movie.  I think that they'd turn it into too much of a fight movie and not enough time developing the characters or the storyline.  Don't get me wrong, I hope they make it into a movie, but I just think they'll get it wrong.

Personally, the two movies I'm waiting for are X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Toby McGuires take on Robotech.

Toby Maguire is doing a Robotech movie??

I don't know whether to laugh or cry....

Does anyone else remember this game?

It was released in '89 for Microsoft 3.x.

I had forgotten about it for awhile, but then remembered how much fun I had playing it so I went looking and found that the creator of the game has it on his website as a free download. I'm pumped!

 ;D

Hmm this thread seems to be peaking my interests. Which is good, since I have been so bored lately.  ;)

Well, I don't think I've done anything to need absolution for......yet. *insert shifty eye emoticon*

I saw the trailer for this last night. Looks like it might be the good movie that Jumper wasn't.

I'd either go with Billy Madison or Wedding Singer.
