Awesometacularness: Part Duex, Thrice Revisted
« on: December 08, 2003, 03:11:24 PM »
Awesome, just awesome. I had this nicely long rant and it just got crapped on by something else opening in the same window and erasing it all. Thank you .gif's. Lets see if I can get this down again.

So I'm waiting or this class before my chem class to end. And a friend of mine, Megan(2), comes out of it and sits down with me to have a little chat. She firstly asks me if I like Megan(1). I say, "maybe... yeah." In a fashion all my own.

Now heres the kicker. Climax if you will. Next Megan(2) tells me, something along these lines, that Megan(1) (either) has someone already, or has someone else in mind. One of the two, I was already pretty out of it. So she then tells me that I should "back off" (I'm putting it worse, I can't remember how she said it). Pickle or not I'm in a nutshell. And thricely its been cracked.

I think I've hit most of that onto the button, or as close as I'll get it again. I'm disheartened by this, and would like to become a fish. How many chuncks of gills would I need? I just want to keep swimming. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

Well. if she's just interested in another guy, then I say: don't back off.  People change their minds all the time.  If, om the other hand, you get the feeling that Megan(1) put Megan (2) up to all of this, then you might want to reconsider.

I don't think turning into a fish would be a good idea, because fish go around all day drinking other fish's urine.
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

I'll have to try fish urine sometime then. Someone has to like it, right?

I didn't get it straight from the horses mouth though, and I'm usually always out of it (some sort of natural high some might say). So I may keep on the wagon, unless specifically thrown off. Then you can be sure you'll hear about it.

Gemm, here's my interpretation.

If she hugged you when you gave her flowers for her birthday then she probably doesn't think you're gross. If she is interested in someone, then just be a friend. Give her flowers on her birthday, send her a Christmas card. Hang out in large groups. Because Mustard's right. In the dating scene people are always changing their minds.

wait, I have a revelation.

You could...

<insert dramatic music>

ask HER if she has a bf. If she isn't DATING the guy, which sounds like it might be the case, just pursuing, that means two things: 1) she's not taken, so you CAN'T step on any toes. 2) she might be less interested in hearing what you have to say, which you'll win over by being there.

Yeah, just ask her.

I would offer advice.  However, since all women automatically love me, I've never been in that situation.  Nope, never.  Not once.

Stop looking at me like that.

Oh Brandon, have you forgotten about The Shrine so quickly?

And just ASK HER.  You have absolutely nothing to lose by asking her if you have a boyfriend.  Boys who are scared are not attractive, so get some balls.

For one thing Fuzzy, I don't have a boyfriend. =P Secondly, EUOL's advice seems like a bad route, oh yet again.  And thricely, thats the thing. The reason I hate the bits and pieces.

And "Brandon," do tell of this shrine.

It is a greatly exaggerated myth that doesn't bear any further repetition.

It was actually a greatly exaggerated myth.  Summary: some other girls and I joked about having a shrine to EUOL, and a certain male person, (who denies it now) told him that it was an actual thing, and that we were all obsessed with him.

Much embarassment was had by all.    :)

I remember that! It had to have been two years ago at least.

More like three or so years, actually, since I myself have been married for over a year and a half, and the myth started at least a year and a half before that.

Stacer, I wonder how far up they modified our class?  Everytime I see you're a Wifewoman it makes me do a double take.
