So there's a show on TV my kids watch called the Koala Brothers, done in claymation. It's about a group of koalas and wallabies and kangaroos and whatnot who live in trailers and shacks in a tiny town in the middle of the desert, and they're all happy and spend their time helping each other and talking in cute accents.
In other words, it's exactly like I picture the real Australia.
-
My little boy watches The Wiggles all the time, which is another Australian show. They had a "Western" movie, where they're out on a ranch, and consequently my son believes that Kookaburras and Kangaroos are natural animals to see out in the Old West.
And in another episode, they meet up with Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter. So naturally the line my 2-year-old picked up was, "Crikey!" He says it daily.

I hate American TV. The crocadile hunter counts.
-
American TV hates you. so I guess that's fair
-
To be despised by American TV would, I think, be considered a compliment? At least to some.
-
American TV is not nearly discriminating enough to be complimented by its hatred.
In plainer English: American TV hates EVERYONE. So you're not special when it hates you.
-
In much the same way that getting mocked by british TV isn't anything special.
-
See, America and Britian aren't all that different. NOW Join us or be destroyed!
-
/me promptly and quietly stabs gemm with a rake
-
I'd rather be hated by British TV than American TV. I'd rather not have American TV assiciated with my name.
Damn, too late.
-
You're just jelious because Amercian TV created Baywatch and Auzie TV never did.
-
I am jealous of no such inane thing.
-
OBEY THE HASSELHOFF!!!!
-
It all just goes to prove my theory that Germans love David Hasselhoff.
