If something is appauling, does that mean that it relates to a guy named Paul, or that it actually creates a guy named Paul?

I think it refers to a school of D&D magic relating to Paul spells.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

The word appauling is actually the gerund form of the verb appaul, meaning "to go about the business of being Paul."

ok, let's get something straight.  TA (That's total annihilation, not t**s and A**) is NOT better than Starcraft. Compared to Starcraft, TA is donkey diarrhea.

I happen to like the platform and story on Starcraft way better than that of WCIII.

There is no strategy in starcraft.

Every single game devolves into a tactic of rushing the others base in the same way. Basically, the winner is who can perfect the same sequence of moves. If you don't use rush tactics, you lose.

It's an overgeneralisation, but that's the way it happens most of the time. Since I don't like RTS though, it doesn't bother me.

That only works in one on one. The first law of Starcraft is "Mayor first, then a general"

Sorry, when I say platform I mean user interface. How easy is it to move units, attack, create and recall groups, etc.?

Strategy is more AI to me.

The rush/swarm strategy is far worse in WC3 than it ever was in Starcraft or Brood War. WC3 has a single player campaign that's light years ahead of Starcraft, but Starcraft was balanced better for multiplayer.
