Title: Travels!
Post by: Shaggy on January 12, 2009, 02:31:30 AM
I was looking through the various topics of TWG, and I realized there is nowhere for people to talk about traveling. So this thread is for talking about travel experiences.

Feel free to post any little anecdotes you want or something.

The fact of the matter is that this thread is likely to die and sink to the bottom eventually, at which point a new thread will need to be created, etc.  People generally just post relevant things about their travels as they happen.

But, to help you out, I'll mention that Ari and I visited family for a week last week, and we went home by train.  That was kind of fun.

OK, I see the sense in that…should I delete it?

Was it a sleep train thing?

No, no need to delete the thread, it's a nice idea and all, but just don't expect it to work as you think it should.

And we weren't in a sleeper (those are expensive), though it was an overnight train.

I'm going down to Maryland for a family reunion this summer in June. I get to get out of school early for it.  ;D WHen teh reunion is over I'm going to this really good swim camp in Maryland also. It's a sleep over camp so I' going to board and I'm really excited for the last 4 month to go by.

I'm not going anywhere, except for generic camping with family, but I already have two sets of relatives visiting us in March.  I live in Moab, UT so one is coming for the marathon and one for the ATV-ing.  We have people come for the national parks and things all the time.  Its a good way to see relatives without having to sleep on their couches.
