Avalanche Press Announces "Hurricane Relief" Sale

On Thursday, 18 September 2003, Avalanche Press was forced to shut down operations at its plant in Virginia Beach VA owing to the arrival of Hurricane Isabel. The company's warehouse and shipping division is based in that location. With power knocked out and widespread damage from the storm, APL was unable to resume operation at the Virginia Beach location until Friday, 26 September 2003. This has caused numerous delays in arrival and shipping of products and hampered the firm's ability to communicate with the rest of the industry, and telephone service is still inconsistent. Consequently, the company is suffering in the wake of this natural disaster.
Avalanche Press is now turning to its fans for help. It's holding a "Hurricane Relief Sale" for one week to help generate some needed revenue.
