The Cover:

That title, by the way, will be embossed with copper foil on the actual book.

WOW!  I'd buy that from the cover alone!  Can't wait for it to be out!

Stunning. It's nice to see the colors (wasn't your copy tending toward the green?), and the typography is great.

Ooh!  Hurray for good books with good covers!  But now I don't want to have to wait for it to come out.  That's hardly fair.
If I had any clue, would I be here?

Thats an awesome cover EUOL.  And I'm sure the book itself will hold up to meet the standard.  Its actually not often these days you see a captivating book cover.  The last one I really enjoyed was the covers of Trudi Caravan's series (The Magicians Guild, The Novice, The High Lord).

Have you got a definite date on when it comes out?

I have spread my dreams under your feet;

Hey...almost makes it look like the book is actually happening!
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

If the first thing that came to your mind after seeing the cover was, "Gee, I'd like to see a smaller version on a site designed by 42." then you're in luck.

It's on the front page of EUOL's site now.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

erm, does that look right in other browsers? In Safari it's hiding underneath (as in, covered up by) the left-margin stuff. Not even all of the picture is showing, just the bottom-left corner. You might want to make sure it validates...

The picture looks pretty good. It could be a little smaller. Keeping about 90% of the size it is now. Also, it should eventually be linked to a site where you can buy the book. Like Barnes & Noble or Amazon or something. I don't know if the book is available for pre-sale yet, but when it is, we might make it readily availble from the author's site.

So is it fantasy or sci-fi? Those towers seem very sci-fi-esque. But a-sooth, I cannot tell. I like it though.

It's fantasy. But EUOL writes fantasy like it's SF.

It is not, that I know of.  I have checked in the past week when I was looking for other pre-ordered books.

Though now that I think about it and will be in the area, I might rather go to a local bookstore and darn well get my copies signed ASAP.

That looks awesome!
