Makes me want to go buy a couple of those games and play them on my roomates systems.

Knights of the Old Republic and Zelda stand out.  Also, what's that PS2 action RPG they keep hyping?  Dark something?  Sprig, you ever going to buy that one?

see this just shows how un-hip I am. While I have heard of most of the PC games, I have not played a single game that won an award on that list.

Howcome Gothic 2 didn't make it into the final list? I hate their awards and will never ever visit their site again. Yeah that'll teach them.

You've probably already told us and I forgot, but remind me what Gothic 2 is? I can't remember.

It was a substandard sequel to a substandard PC RPG, is what i heard from the one review i saw.

EDIT : Gamerankings (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/561413.asp) gave it a moderately respectable 76% average, so certainly a few people liked it.
