Yellow hurts.
"Magic is what makes fantasy fantastic," someone says, "you can't apply rules to them or else it loses wonder!" I respond, "Sure, but if you want to write them you will certainly want to know how they work." Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

My eyes are burning... I'm not gonna read that.
One thing I'd like to see is how they portray Vin's memories of Reen.
They are called the Heralds. Beyond that, I don't know, but I doubt they each had/have a shard. That's a lot of shards.
Any information is more than I had! Thank you!
At least I know what to call them now when I wildly speculate.
1 - Adonalsiumverse is the universe in which books that take place where Shards of Adonalsium are found.I found out today that the official name is the Cosmere.
Brandon has been working like a dog for long hours. He spends up to 14 hours per day writing, but he wants to get to where he's spending more like 9 hours a day.
You're all nuts. You need Jeeja Yanin (or someone like her), the recent star of Chocolate and Raging Phoenix. She's got the right build, the right hair, and she can totally move in a way that can't be faked without the best CG (and even then, not so well). It's hilarious that the production company is called >Baa-Ram-Ewe<.

"Ruined Forever!"
But if I had to choose (which I think is sort of pointless, because there would probably be lesser known actors), Nathan Fillion for Kelsier, Summer Glau for Vin.
Miyabi's done very well with your questions. It's probably worth pointing out that future books in the Stormlight Archive (the series that The Way of Kings is part of) will take much longer to finish than Way of Kings did, as it was already in first or second draft stage when Brandon came to Tor to make a contract for it. I'm sure either Peter or Brandon will mention how fast we can expect future books sometime after he starts actually writing the second one.
For people who have read DRAGONSTEEL and know how integral certain bits of that book appeared to its plot, WAY OF KINGS is going to be a pretty big shock.
Does it like, contradict things from Dragonsteel? That's be pretty interesting.
Yeah, tattoo's are quite expensive. Heh, my sister paid for my first tattoo because she didn't think i would accept her offer to pay for it, but i did
