Why don't the republican students just shoot him? That way he can speak, making the Liberals happy ('Urk! I've been shot!' sounds like a good speech to me), he dies making the Republican students happy, and the Donors get to laugh manically, making them happy. Everyone wins!
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Yeah, but these are COLLEGE students. One of them would have to have a very rich daddy so he could have a nice enough gun to pull it off without running out of ammo clearing away the liberals to get his shot at Moore.

Hannety is waiving his speaking fee of 100 grand, but Moore is charging 50 grand. Both are also have travel and lodging expenses paid for them.

Here's what I find funny: Hannity is acting like he's doing the school a big favor, but for transportation he's demanding a private jet -- his fees will be almost as high as Moore's 40k.

I wrote a whole blog thing about this, if you want to read it (on my website).

Actually, I had a gal in my Ethics and Values class at UVSC whose father gave her a weekly allowance of 125K. It's been 8 years, but I wouldn't be surprised if she were still at UVSC.

And yes, UVSC is not saving any money by Hannity waving his speaking fee. Neither Hannity or Moore are particularly afforadable for UVSC.

Really, both of them are extremists, and both of them are entertainers -- using politics to make themselves gobs of money.  I think Moore would be very qualified to go to UVSC if he was giving a presentation on independent film, and Hannity could give a speech on the radio industry, or publishing bestsellers, but neither of them can present a good, honest political discussion.

a) we were talking about a West Virigina college, 42. No one. NO ONE there has a weekly allowance of 125k

b) that's not typical.

c) it was a joke about poor college students.

I've no inclination to argue all of this with you, Skar...

Since two years of actual on the ground experience that directly contradicts your opinion failed to shift it even a little I'd say it's pretty obvious you don't want to argue it out.  ;)

On to other things!

By way of clarification, the zing refers to Skar, not SE.  That's what I get for being slow.
