Just saw it, good flick. Has good acting, and the musical score was surprisingly good for a super-hero flick, which means they didn't get Rob Zombie to score it. The film has great atmosphere, but the story is only okay. My biggest beef is with some of the special effects. The monsters are so over-done that they might as well be giant dust-bunnies in most shots.

I think I would like to see a sequel that expands on the film.

I'd pay to see a movie where giant dust-bunnies were the monsters--especially if Ursula Vernon was involved in the art. :)

Just saw it last night...  Maybe it's just the dad in me, but, we saw some parents bring in their three under 6-year-old kids, and everytime something violent happened (which was pretty much 95% of the show), I kept wondering how warped those kids were going be.  It really ruined the movie for me--I couldn't get into it, and I left thinking it was the most violent thing I've ever seen (probably because I was so aware of every little thing).
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.
