Scientists have determined that Kansas actually is flatter than a pancake.

I have a friend who lives in Kansas who put that in her blog. Doesn't it seem strange that I'd hear that news from two independant sources. I thought so.

I find it stranger that you have friends.  I find it stranger still that you read blogs.

I've been to and through Kansas and I can't say that I find this hard to believe in the slightest.

Nebraska still wins out as the worst state to drive through though.  Eh.

Hey I'm form Nebraska and take offence at that.  It's the second worst state to drive through right behind wyoming.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Sorry sprig, I've driven through both Kansas and Nebraska and Wyoming. OF the three, Wymoing is the least worst to drive through. at least they have rocks.

I do not think i have been to any of those states.

But really, c'mon people. Some of us know how to plan our countries so that they do not inspire permanent insanity and sleepiness in drivers. Its just not good enough, i tell you.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Right. Your county was "planned."

If New England is any reflection on the British ability to plan roads (which I believe to be true, seeing as how Scotland was much like Boston traffic-wise), they just let the cows choose the road paths and let it grow from there...

Now, the terrain, however, is stunning. Great to drive through. (As long as you know how to shift with your left hand and hug the narrow roads, avoiding driving inches off the road into the stone wall or hedge, or inches the other direction into oncoming traffic--an interesting task when driving in the rain, as the roads don't seem to be built to drain.)

Ask me why I'm posting. That's right, I have a 10-page paper due tomorrow that I have about 3 paragraphs for so far. I work well under pressure.
