I thought the short series and movie were both pretty good. I need to buy them sometime.
News:
"Magic is what makes fantasy fantastic," someone says, "you can't apply rules to them or else it loses wonder!" I respond, "Sure, but if you want to write them you will certainly want to know how they work." Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

Yeah definitely some heavy CGI in there, that and the sci-fi is what I disliked. In the previous installments, it was more god-related stuff, and all of their stunts were done with minimum CGI. This one doesn't really fit into the series, but it was still good.

When I heard I was disappointed that RJ died. He is my inspiration, as I am hopefully going to be an author myself. But I was impressed that they were able to find such a good author like Brandon Sanderson, I hope he can live up to it. I personally have no worries though, after reading some of his work. Can't wait for it to come out!

Saw this movie the night it came out, liked it, but only about as well as Temple of Doom. In other words, I thought it was a great movie, but not a great INDIANA movie. Still really good, though, don't get me wrong. I'd watch it again in a heartbeat.
