Now, wasn't this premise used in a movie some years ago? I faintly recall there being a movie that sort of had this same kind of utility in it. Just seems like it was used before....

Well, there was Minority Report, but that was a future thing. And then there was Paycheck, which involved memory erasure. But I don't remember anything exactly like this.

Reminds me a bit of a "Speaker for the Dead" in the Ender chronicles.
"Skar is the kind of bird who, when you try to kill him with a stone, uses it, and the other bird, to take vengeance on you in a swirling melee of death."

Whenever I see this title I think of the Pink Floyd album. Then I think of the film festival.

I thought of the film festival. Was it named after a Pink Floyd song? That would make me laugh. Not something you expect at BYU.

actually, it was probably named after the same thing that the album was named after, ie "Noun 1. final cut - the final edited version of movie as approved by the director and producer "

by the way, I found a page with waaaay too much info about the PF album unless you're a fan.

That trailer looks really interesting. Looks surprisingly good.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

That's because Robin Williams is in it. Freaking Idiot.
