So I was just thinking about this while I wait for my aunt to come and pick me up, but, so, what internet browsers are you guys using? I am using Mozilla FireFox. It's virus free enviormant is all cozy (until I get a virus 8)).
-
I use both IE and Opera, often simultaneously. I use Opera for sites with annoying popups or ones that I frequently go to because it can save my session and I just open it back up to be where I was before.
Also if something doesn't work correctly on one, it usually will on the other.
-
I use Firefox nearly exclusively.
Unfortunately, some features of some sites I frequently visit (Livejournal, Yahoo Music) don't work with it yet, so I have to open IE.
-
I have the same problem, only with me everything works but updates for my anti-virus and windows stuff. Ah well, it's worth it. I have noticed that when I use Firefox for maybe two weeks my computer will get one or two tracking cookies, but when my sisters use IE (They either don't know that Firefox is an internet browser or don't care) for three days or so it will get sevenish tracking cookies and a couple viruses. I like Firefox alot.
-
How odd. I use Firefox exclusively and I've never had a problem with LiveJournal.
-
It's only a problem when updating. If I try to use the rich text mode it messes everything up.
-
Fire Fox doesn't support all the richtext editing functions that IE does since Microsoft was the one that developed all of them and for some reasons Firefox is refusing to support them.
I use IE exclusively, mostly because I don't care for the layout/feel of the other browsers. I never get virus nor spyware since I've installed Avast! and Microsoft anti-spyware. In fact I rarely got them before I did all that too. I do have Firefox and Opera installed for checking web page layouts sine all 3 render differently.
-
I use Firefox and Camino, I dont like IE much because it doesnt handle RSS.
-
I use iE because
a) I never have any problems with it rendering anything
b) Firefox seems to be virtuous primarily because it limits support to 'official' standards. which means it can't do as much as IE
c) When IE 7 or 8 comes out people will like that better than Firefox. Say nay all you want. Netscape was better until IE5, which was better till Netscape 6/firefox. I'd rather just stick with one program that I can update.
-
I go with IE. It has some problems/limitations but over all, nothing really tops it. Just because it is associated with Mircosoft and the evil empire doesn't mean that it doesn't work.

Firefox. Tabbed browsing and other features is something you have to load uber-annoying plugins into IE to get. Also, the symbol is cute.
-
Firefox, exclusively.
Love the Grease Monkey.
-
Safari.
-
IE, for e's reasons.
-
Also Safari.
