Uh, that was not sarcastic. I know this, since i use sarcasm a lot IRL.

Someone coming into macdonalds and asking "can i buy a burger" and getting the response "No, we decided to stop selling them and now sell only low fat salads" is on the recieving end of sarcasm.

What you did was merely being rude.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Wait a minuite, the guy that walks into Mc.Donalds is NOT on the recieving end of sarcasm.  There is a nationwide test going on in some country noones ever heard of where they do just that.

...Is that true, or was that another one of your sarcasm rants...?

No, it was not real, it was just the result of you're late night party-ing last night...

MoD, please tell me you did NOT show him the veryscaryeric.jpg....

and thanks. I thinkthey're cute too. We need to video tape Rachael playing with my mom's dog. The dog licks her ear, and she goes into convulsions of laughter. It's cute to the point of making bitter people like Entropy explode.

since this thread has been resurrected anyway.

Here's what I did between reading comics and editing articles for TWG.

We have these boxes that hold ceramic/metal tiles that are specific colors that are used to either standardize or verify calibration for color measuring equipment. The tiles are held upright and separate (scratching them would put an end to their functionality). ANyway, we threw out an instrument, and I claimed the standards box. After pulling the hinges off and throwing out the lid, and then removing the guides on the inside (which took longer than I had hoped it would, stupid particle board) I find that my CD jewel boxes fit in it on their end, so I can read the spine label.

Now I have a portable carry case for CDs that doesn't put them into sleeves that can scratch the discs up. Yay!

/me laughs

Nope. It was a family pic with you, the beautiful wife and the ultra-cute girls.

I just watched a video last night of my brother-in-law sending my now one-year-old nephew into laughing fits because he was breaking grapes into smaller pieces and then spitting them onto his tray. Kids are so cute :D

Huh.  Really?  My parents made it seem like kids teach you how to kill and torture.  Kinda opposites...

actually, no, it's not remotely similar in any way to what I said.

Nor do I find it amusing. But maybe that's just me.

Actually I think one is needed.

SE, you should know that it's not just you. When has it ever been a good idea to believe the standards of "good taste" set by 15 year old boys?

just don't take it any further, k?

wt.... I'm... GEEZ can everyone just STOP FIGHTING!?

EUOL, consider this an official request. The next time someone brings up one platform being superior to another, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE THREAD. The next time someone starts getting huffy over being told that his line was offensive  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE THREAD. The next time someone expands ungracefully upon a diplomatic attempt to point out that something is offensive, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE THREAD. The next time someone slams soemone else because they haven't been here for more than a couple days, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE THREAD. In fact, the next time anyone disagrees in a way anything other than peaceful, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE THREAD.

I'm kinda tired of it. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood today, but it's not just newbies. The regulars are getting on my nerves. Doing things that they know better than. We've been claiming that we feel ourselves an elite forum, with a higher breed of comments than other locations, so let's get our act together and show it and stop acting so frickin' petty. You don't have to prove someone's done something bad beyond a doubt. If you feel a comment is a little out of line, point it out once. If they continue, try ignoring it instead of forcing the other person to grovel. Maybe we can get this forum feeling fun again.
